The concept of designing a structure that can help improve the environment has always been a goal of ours. The building we proposed in one of the most run down areas in the City of Sao Paulo, was created to help the city in four distinct ways.
- Recycle and clean water, through geothermal/flash evaporation the building takes all it’s brown water and recycles it into clean water and returns it to a nearby river.
- Generate enough energy for itself and it’s surroundings through Geothermal and PV’s.
- Clean the air through the vertical farm “wings” attached to the superstructure.
- Create a unique and vibrant space for the inhabitants/workers and visitors.
