Located at Citywalk at Universal Orlando Resort, Voodoo Doughnuts renovated an existing retail store to bring its innovative and unique doughnut flavors to Florida. Through BIM modeling, RM Plus was able to assist the design team in visualizing the complex space and validating layout options to create the final colorful, quirky project.
RM Plus’s team used Revit to create a 3D model of the existing conditions, demolition, and new construction scope. This detailed model helped the design team to visualize the complex geometry of the interior and exterior of the building to be remodeled. This use of BIM during early design phases allows our team to discover challenges and conflicts between the concept design and the existing conditions, and to present options to the client to resolve each issue.
