Concept Design

In conjunction with US Thrill Rides we created a unique people moving experience for a unique project at the Indianapolis Zoo. A common problem at orangutan exhibits is the guests inability to view them. Orangutans much prefer to be in the trees rather than on the ground level. This proposes a difficult problem for the visitors and our solution was to take the visitors to the same level as the orangutans. The people mover was designed to be a continuous motion platform that allows the visitors to embark, circle the exhibit while viewing the animals. Guests would ride in gondolas 60 feet in the air for up close views of the orangutans.
