Located in Winter Park, Florida, the Via Tuscany project brings a contemporary custom home design to a long-established neighborhood distinguished by towering southern live oak trees and winding brick roads. On the exterior, the facade is a study of materials and textures – bright-white smooth stucco, charcoal gray ribbed metal, nearly black dry-stack stone veneer – punctuated by expansive windows that bring in diffuse northern light. On the interior, the ground level is ideal for family living and entertaining with the open living room, dining room and kitchen – all connected to a covered outdoor terrace with access to the pool and backyard. On the second level, the master bedroom and children’s bedrooms open to a private second level terrace shaded by the roof overhang above.
