Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Project Architect with 6-10 years of experience in an architectural office. Candidate must be local or interested in relocating to Central Florida to work in our office in-person with our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team in design and technical documentation and for coordinating with all project team members and consultants to deliver exceptional projects. Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively develop creative design solutions throughout the design process that respect the creative intent of the project, the client’s requirements and standards, and the specific code requirements of the project

  • Proficient at schematic, design development, and construction document phases of work and ensure that construction detail documentation conforms to QA/QC and best practice standards

  • Manage team and project coordination including full documentation coordination with our consultant team which may include structural, MEPFP, civil, landscape, interiors, kitchen, lighting, and a/v consultants

  • Experience with Revit, Navisworks, and BIM Coordination to identify and resolve architectural design issues and coordination items with the consultants

  • Ability to interact with clients and demonstrate presentations skills related to leading projects from schematic design through construction administration

  • Ability to research building materials, product selection, and coordinate specifications with firm’s specification writer

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, staff, and interns

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in architecture

  • Licensed or working towards licensure in the state of Florida preferred

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the architecture & design industry

  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, MS Office and Outlook

  • A team player with an upbeat attitude that will be excited to dive in and support numerous projects in all phases of development

  • Talented, passionate, and committed to developing quality designs & documentation
