Concept Design

Our design provides students with everything they need to create balanced lives. Dedicated space for academic work is a major feature of the building, along with lounges that encourage student interaction. The outdoor amenities deck provides space for students to rest and relax, as well as provide space for the building to hold large group activities, developing a sense of community. The flexibility of our courtyard design allows the layout to accommodate many different site sizes. By varying the number of floors of parking or units, any target numbers can be met. Ideally the site will be an urban infill site that will contribute to a sense of community, activate the surrounding neighborhood and re-purpose an underutilized or obsolete site. The site should be within walking distance to surrounding work places, schools, shops, entertainment, parks, and public transportation.
