Amador Convention Center featured in Boutique Design

The Amador Convention Center has been featured in this month’s Boutique Design Magazine! Please check out the online magazine here – excerpts of the  article ‘Digging In’ are below.

‘Digging In’

This month’s Boutique Design Magazine has a fantastic article about the booming hotel industry in Panama City, Panama.  One of the main contributors to this growth is the economic development of the region, and the rising business and leisure travel to Panama City.

“Helping bolster the prospects for both existing and future hotels is the upcoming opening of a new, larger convention/meeting  complex in Panama City. Slated to open late this year, the $194 million Amador Convention Center will have 580,000 sq. ft. of space under roof on a 32-acre site.

In addition, an expanded Panama Canal capable of accommodating larger freighters and cruise ships that’s slated to begin operations next year is expected to futher stimulate the city’s economy.”

Panama City is described as “a thriving, dynamic city that’s full of promise” by Grace Hotels chief operating officer Marco Novella.

Thank you so much to Boutique Design Magazine for including our project in this article.  Our imagery of the Performing Arts Theater at the Amador Convention Center was included in the article. This image explores the dynamic design of the lobby space of the theater, featuring interiors that combine contemporary finishes and indigenous Mola artwork.
